Do you want a surprising and memorable costume? Do you want to avoid clichés? You will be unique and dramatic in a chameleon mask. It seems that nature created the chameleon to inspire us to change our appearance. Of course, this is a bit of an exaggeration, but its appearance is truly inspiring.

Its characteristically shaped eyes, crest, and long tongue are features that can easily be shaped into a mask. A paper mask gives you room for your creativity. You can make it unique by choosing colors, paper quality, and extra decorations. Be brave when choosing colors and paper surfaces. The paper base-construction itself provides an interesting sight, but you can further enhance the effect with colors. You can find pictures of chameleons with vivid colors. You can create beautiful details if you also evoke their skin surface with paper cut-out details.

What do you think, if you want a dragon mask, this chameleon vector template can also become a dragon with a little modification? For example, a green-dark green-brown color dominance can nicely move the result towards the dragon.

Please notice that you are buying digital templates and instructions only. No physical products will be sent to you.

Using PDF file:
You will need access to a printer, paper, card, tape, double-sided tape or glue or glue gun, scissors, ruler.

Using SVG files:
Basic knowledge of Cricut software and of using SVG files with it is assumed.

Recommended paper quality: at least 180-200gsm.

How to use PDF files:
– Download & unzip the files
– Print the template
– Cut out the parts
– Fold along folding lines (Score it to make it easier to fold. Use a ruler and the tip of the scissors.)
– Glue parts together.

How to use SVG files:
– Download & unzip the files
– Preparing files with e.g. Design Space software for using Cricut (or Silhouett) machine
– Score and cut out the parts with Cricut machine
– Fold along folding lines
– Glue parts together.

NOTE: When cutting/scoring on Cricut, after importing SVG files:
The files arrive as a group with subgroups. One subgroup contains letters and numbers that can be drawn with a pen or cut. Another subgroup is Score/Fold lines, which must be assigned as Score lines in the Action menu. The third subgroup is for cut lines. (Scoring lines can be assigned as a group with a single click; it is not necessary to define each line as a separate score line.)

Double-sided tape is the fastest way for making paper crafts. A small glue gun can also be useful.
